African Hand Carved Doors, Wood Panels

Each of the carved Dogon doors was meticulously crafted by artisans from the Dogon people, who reside in the central plateau region of Mali in West Africa, near Bandiagara and extending into Burkina Faso. In the first image, the three door panels highlight beautiful African craftsmanship by skilled Nupe artisans in Nigeria. Each piece reflects months—and in some cases, up to a year—of dedicated work.
